Bathurst - Edward Lavigne, of Victoria Ave, Bathurst, passed away on Tuesday August 6, 2024, at the Chaleur Reginal Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 66.

Born in Toronto, ON, he was the son of the late Robert and Patricia (Roy) Lavigne.

He is survived by his daughter, Lynn Lavigne (Sean Harris) of Tracy, NB. 

Two grandchildren: Madelyn and James.

Two brothers: Leonard Lavigne (Gloria) of Elliot Lake, ON and Tommy Lavigne (Line Daigle) of Bathurst.

Two sisters: Mona Ryan (Terry) and Stella Doiron (Daren) both of Saint John.

Several nieces and nephews.

Edward worked at and was member of the Herman J. Good, VC Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst. He was known to his many nieces and nephews as "crazy uncle Eddy" and was happiest with a guitar or his grandchildren in his arms.

Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by two brothers: Michael and Danny.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday August 12, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Elhatton’s Funeral Home, Bathurst. There will be no formal funeral service.
