Wesley Maher, 80, husband of Jean (Doucet) Maher, of Westbrook Court, passed away on Tuesday (April 18, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Peter and Hannah (Reagan) Maher.
He worked at the former Consolidated Bathurst Paper Mill as a BCM Operator.

Eighteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The body will rest after 7:00 p.m. Friday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning (April 22, 2006) at 11:00 a.m. from St. Theresa Church, South Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery later in the spring. Visiting hours are Friday from 7 to 9 and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral
