It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Joey Bélanger Robichaud, which occurred peacefully at his residence on Saturday, October 5th 2024, at the age of 25.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Nadine Bélanger and Joël Robichaud.

Besides his parents, he leaves behind one brother, Mickel Bélanger (Samantha Keiver) of Riverside Albert, one niece Kensely and one on the way.

He leaves to mourn his maternal grandmother, Yvette Bélanger (late Adjutor) of the Acadienne Peninsula and his paternal grandparents: Lambert and Gladys Robichaud of Bathurst.

His uncles: Yan Bélanger (Rachel) of the Acadienne Peninsula and Marc Robichaud (Denise) of Bathurst and her aunt, Diane Maillet (Charles) of Bouctouche, several cousins and many friends.

Joey had a heart of gold and a contagious laugh. He would give anything to help others out. He wasn’t prejudice nor judgmental. He was appreciated and will be missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton’ s Funeral Home on Thursday October 10, 2024, from noon till departure for the funeral. Funeral service will be held from Holy Rosary church at 2p.m.

In memory of Joey, donations may be made to the Bathurst Volunteer Centre or a charity of the donor’s choice.
