Bathurst- Marguerite Blanchard, formerly of Mount Carmel St., Bathurst, wife of the late Léo Paul Chiasson, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 100.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Patrice Cormier and the late Marceline Roy.

She is survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Her Special sister-in-law Carmelle Vienneau.

She was predeceased by her siblings Adelaide, Hilda, Marie, Irene, Clifford, Leo and Harold.

There will be no visitation, funeral service will be held from Sacred Heart Cathedral on Thursday October 24, 2024, at 2p.m.

Donations in memory of Marguerite may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
