Dunlop - Mrs. Evangeline Carr, of Dunlop, passed away on Monday November 18, 2024, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 85.

Born in Jacquet River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Daigle) Guitard.

She is survived by five children: Raymond Carr and Janice Carr (Robert Fecto) both of Burlington, ON, Carole Hachey (Rheal) and Wayne Hachey (Gisèle) both of North Tetagouche and Bryan Carr (Annie Arseneau) of Dunlop.

Seven grandchildren: Sherry, Chrystal, Mathieu, Michael, Scott, Mitchell, Tanysha and three great-grandchildren.

One brother, Alex Guitard.

Five sisters: Theresa, Frances, Ann Marie, Helen and Mona.

Also survived by her extended Arseneau family on her daughter-in-law side and her special friend, Christine Côté (Marcel).

Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends after 12:30 Tuesday November 26, 2024, at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com) Beresford, from where the funeral will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Donations in memory of Evangeline can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
