It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Donald Martin, husband of Paula Martin, at the Prestige Residence on Friday, December 13, 2024 at the age of 84.

Originally from Baie Ste-Anne, he was the son of the late Edmond Martin and the late Marguerite Martin.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Linda Martin, Joanne (George Blanchard), Marc (Linda Mallet), Marcel (Nancy Saulnier); his grandchildren; Katie Arseneau (Olivier Pelletier), Josée and Janie Martin. His great-granddaughter; Evelyne Pelletier. His sister Dorothé (Fernand Gallant), Egbert (late Patsy).

He joins his brother and sisters who preceded him, Georgina, Hermine, Dorcas and Ronald.

Donald worked for 33 years at the former Brunswick Mines. Donald was loved and respected by all.

The family would like to express its most sincere thanks to all the staff at Residence Prestige de Bathurst, Extra Mural, Oncology of Bathurst, and Moncton, as well as Dr. Eve-Maryse Boudreau and those who visited her.

Donald’s funeral will be held at a later date. In memory of Donald, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, NB.
