It is with sadness, that we, the family announce the passing of Gérald Roy, which occurred at the Inkerman Residence on Saturday December 14th, 2024 at the age of 88.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late George Roy and Loretta Roy (Melanson).

He is survived by his three sisters: Paulette Holmes (the late Mackie) of Bathurst, Rose-Marie Legacy (Hector) of Nepisiguit Falls, and Rita Bail (the late Ian) of Fredericton.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother Andrew Roy and sister Betty Vienneau.

Gerald lived at Residence Inkerman where he met many friends, he loved music and riding his bicycle around town.

Funeral service will be held from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 10a.m. Donations in memory of Gérald may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
