It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Paul Cormier of Riverside Dr., which occurred on Sunday, March, 9th 2025.

Paul was 76 years old. He is survived by his wife, of 54 years, Claudette (White).

Born in Bathurst, Paul was the son of the late Hormidas and Theotiste (Pinet) Cormier.

Paul will be lovingly remembered by his children Remi (Moncton) and Jean-Rene (Bathurst).

Also left, to cherish his memory, are his brother Jean-Marie (John) and his sisters Rita and Claudette. Paul spent much quality time with family, colleagues and friends. They were an important part of his life. From very early, Paul loved music and he played many instruments with many different musical groups, but he will always be remembered as a "drummer".

Paul was a graduate from the College de Bathurst with a B.A. and later he received a Masters from I'Université de Laval, Quebec. Paul began teaching in 1971. He taught for 2 years at I'Ecole de Pointe Verte followed by 29 years at E.S.N..

There will be no visitations at the funeral home The family will celebrate his life at a later date.
