Mrs. Lillian Russell, 82, wife of the late Raymond Russell, of Salmon Beach, passed away on Tuesday, March, 18, 2025, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. 

She was the daughter to the late Eldon Payne and the late June Payne (Buttimer).

Lillian is survived by;

Two sons: Billy Russell (Peggy Chamberlain) of Chamberlain Settlement, and Ronald Russell (Vicki Dickson) of Janeville.

Two daughters: Wendy MacTavish (John) of Pictou, NS and Linda Good (late Mark) of Bathurst.

Eight grandchildren: Shawn, Alyssa, Ashley, Katie, Gregory, Sarah, Brittany and Craig.

Thirteen great-grandchildren.

Four siblings: Margaret Payne-Chenard (Mike), George Payne, Marjorie Sealy (Rodney) all of Salmon Beach, Dorothy Ramsey (Donald) of Ontario.

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, Lillian was predeceased by a grandson, Clayton and her son-in-law Mark.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst. Donations in memory of Lillian may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
