With profound sadness, we share the news of Tracey Dawn Dow's passing, which occurred following a short illness on March 26, 2025 in Prince George, BC.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of David and Lois (Negus) Dow.
Besides her parents, she leaves behind her sister Darcie (Richard), her nieces Ryann and Quinn, her close friend Harley, and her beloved dog, Jax.
Born and raised in Bathurst, NB, Tracey moved to Fredericton, where she dedicated two decades to the food and beverage industry. Many will fondly remember her as the best waitress they ever had the pleasure of serving them.
In 2013, Tracey ventured west and eventually discovered Pink Mountain, where she worked at Buffalo Inn on and off for more than 10 years. There, she became a beloved figure in many lives, serving as a source of light, comfort, friendship, and support. Her absence will be profoundly felt by those she touched during her time there and everywhere. Tracey was inherently generous, deeply caring about others, and she will be greatly missed.
When she visited Bathurst, Tracey cherished the time spent with her family and enjoyed walking on the beach. Her family now says to her, 'Let’s go for a walk on the beach. You go ahead, and we’ll catch up.’
There will be no service at this time. A gathering is planned for later this summer.
