Bathurst - Mrs. Margaret Blackett, 85, of the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes and formerly of Rough Waters Dr., Bathurst, died Sunday (October 26, 2003) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jane (Babin) Boucher.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Walter Blackett in 1986.

23 Grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday afternoon (October 30, 2003) at 2:00 p.m. from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Rough Waters Dr., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, St. Mary's Ave. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst.
