Big River - Emile 'Pete' Mazerolle, 75 and 10 months, of Big River, died Monday (June 9, 2003) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after having suffered a stoke.
Born in Maltempeque, NB, he was the son of the late Olivier and Lucie (Robichaud) Mazerolle.
He worked at Brunswick Mines for 27 years and was a member of the company's Quarter Century Club.
Pre-deceased by his wife Celina Hebert in 1995.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday afternoon (June 13, 2003) at 2:00 p.m. from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Rough Waters Dr. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
