Mrs. Marie Anne Chiasson, 91, wife of Placide Chiasson, formerly of Notre Dame St., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday (November 19, 2006) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst. Born in Pointe Verte, she was the daughter of the late Adelard and Hélène (Fournier) Comeau. She was the last member of her immediate family. Beside her husband, she is survived by: Four sons: Jean-Paul Chiasson (Phyllis) of Moncton Euclide Chiasson (Claudette) of Pointe-Verte Robert Chiasson (Marie-Jeanne) of Beresford Jean-Luc Chiasson (Jocelyne) of Ste Rosette, NB Two daughters: Marcelle Mersereau (Terry) of Bathurst Joanne Gauthier of North Tetagouche, NB 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son Marc, sisters; Esther, Victoria, Mathilda, Bertha, Doris, brothers; Jean-Hector and Patrice. The body will rest after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon (November 22, 2006) at 2:00 p.m. from (Eglise Notre-Dame du Rosaire) Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours: Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. until times of funeral.
