Grande-Anse - Antoinette Gionet, 56, of Grande-Anse and formerly of Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (February 24, 2007) at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, after a brief illness. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of Estelle (Duguas) Gionet and the late Médore Gionet. Beside her mother of Bathurst, she is survived by: One brother: Jean Paul Gionet (Penny) of Bathurst One sister: Claudette Maher (Peter) of Bathurst 2 nieces, 2 nephews, several aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday (February 27, 2007) at 11:00 a.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home, St. George St., with Father Gregory Culligan officiating.
