North Tetagouche - Hector Godin, 68, of North Tetagouche, passed away on Sunday (July 1, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Allardville, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Melvina (David) Godin. He worked as a Miner for most of his life. Besides his wife, Yvonne (Morais) Godin, he is survived by: One son: Richard Godin (Irene LeClair) of Dunlop, NB Two daughters: Susannne Godin Guitard (Marc) of North Tetagouche, NB Monique Godin Paul (Frank) of Moncton, NB Two brothers: Ralph Godin (Leona) of Bangor, Maine, USA Cléo Godin (Rose) of Dunlop Three sisters: Thérèse Bertin and Géraldine Pratt both of Dunlop Jeannette Roy (Alphonse) of Saint John, NB 11 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Raymond, and 3 sisters; Linda, Rita and Florence. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), 270 rue Centre, Beresford. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning (July 4, 2007) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave, Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral.
