Bathurst - Randolph Theriault, 91, formerly of Caron Drive, passed away on Wednesday (September 19, 2007) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late William Theriault and the late Elizabeth Roy.
He was the founder of Theriault's Groceries on Bridge St., in Bathurst, he loved meeting the people over the years that supported him and his business, now carried on by his son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Edna.
He was a 4th degree member of Msgr. Wheton Assembly Knights of Columbus and also
a life member of U.C.T. Council 827.
He was pre-deceased by his wife, the former Isabel Luce, in 1998.
He is survived by:
Two sons:
Donald (Edna) of Bathurst,
Michael (Colleen) of San Fransico, Calalifornia.
Two daughters:
Bonnie Weisbord (Tim) of St.Hypolite, Que.
Linda Theriault of Bathurst.
One sister:
Germaine Theriault, New York City, USA.
Seven grandchildren; Dana, Kevin, Matthew, Katherine, Jennifer, Michelle, Justin.
And three great-grandchildren; Alicia, Grant and Peyton.
The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Sunday (September 23, 2007) at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday (September 24, 2007) at 11:00 from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.
Visiting hours are Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday from 9 until time of funeral.
Burial will be in St.Mary’s cemetery, Bathurst
