Gloucester Junction - It is with sadness that the family announces the death of Odilon Chenard, 82, of Gloucester Junction, which occurred Thursday (November 1st, 2007) at Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Kedgwick, he was the son of the late Elieud Chenard and the late Antoinette Richard and his step-mother the late Marie Louise Michaud.
Odilon is survived by:
Six daughters;
Linda (Maurice Thibodeau),
Betty (Jean Guy Doucet),
Verna (Elmer Doucet),
Marie Rose (Jean Marc Lavigne),
Susan (Edmond Lamoureux) all of Bathurst,
Patsy (Eric Chamberlain) of Dieppe.
12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Odilon was predeceased by his beloved wife Alice Boucher and brothers and sisters; Edgar Chenard, Georgette Desmeules, Claude Chenard, Gerard Chenard, Patricia Dube and Patrick Theriault.
The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday (November 5, 2007) at 2:00 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Bathurst. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday from noon until time of Funeral.
