Bathurst … Mrs. Clara Glazier, 95, wife of the late Gilbert Glazier, formerly of Church St., Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday (October 31, 2007) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness. Born in Rogersville, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Marion (Gaudet) Wedge. She was a member of the St. Theresa Catholic Women’s League, Bathurst. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Gilbert, in 1977. She is survived by nine children: Corrine Doiron of Bathurst Ralph Glazier (Marion) of Oshawa, ON Gilbert Glazier Jr. (Annette) of Bathurst Glendon Glazier (Kerri) of Oshawa, ON Cletus Glazier (Cindy) of St. Paul, Minisota, USA Ronnie Glazier (Susan) of Peterborough, ON Kenneth Glazier (Gisèle) of Bathurst Linda Scott of Bathurst Ann Paul (Bruce) of Oshawa, ON 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning (November 3, 2007) at 11:00 a.m. from St. Theresa Church, South Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or a favorite charity.
