Clifton - Leston Breckenridge, 84, of Clifton, passed away on Monday (November 5, 2007) at the Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home, Miramichi. Born in Clifton, he was the son of the late James and Isabella (Jagoe) Breckenridge. He was a former employee of Brunswick Mines and was a farmer and fisherman. Member of Central United Church, Clifton. Besides his wife, Pamela (Bonnar) Breckenridge, he is survived by: Three daughters: Linda Sullivan (Gordie) and Lesley Boucher (Bill), both of Bathurst Marilyn Hopkins) Terry of Clifton One sister: Dorothy “Dot” Daley of Bathurst 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a sister; Reta. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday afternoon (November 8, 2007) at 2:00 p.m. from Central United Church, Clifton. Burial will be in the Highland View Cemetery, Bathurst. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 an 7 to 9.
