Bathurst - Mrs. Rose Aubie, 97, wife of the late Joseph Aubie, formerly of Dumeresqu St., Bathurst, passed away on Thursday (December 6, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in Petit-Rocher, she was the daughter of the late Léon and Julie (Roy) Comeau.
She was a member of the St. Theresa Little Flower Council of the Catholic Women's League, Bathurst.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Joseph, in 1950.
She is survived by:

Arthur (Delia) of Abbotsford, BC
Louis (Gilberte) of Bathurst
Walter of Montreal, Que.
Harold (Jo-Ann) of Beaconsfield, Que.
Three daughters:
Doris (Aubie) Pilgram and
Jeannette Aubie, both of Pointe-Claire, Que.
Dorothy Aubie (Jacques Ranger) of Ile Perrot, Que.
One brother:
Stanislas Comeau (Arnolda) of Petit-Rocher, NB
Two sisters:
Ella Boudreau and
Jeannette Pelletier, both of Beresford
13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
2 brothers, Lawrence, Antoine and one sister Adélia predeceased her.
The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning (December 10, 2007) at 11:00 a.m. from St. Theresa Church, South Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral.
