Bathurst - Mrs. Joan Cormier, 80, of College St., Bathurst, wife of Andrew Cormier, died Wednesday (January 21, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late John and Annie (Smith) Salter. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her husband, Andrew Cormier, she is survived by: 2 Sons: Michael Cormier (Emilienne) of North Tetagouche Andrew 'Drew' Cormier (Rejeanne) of Fredericton 1 Daughter: Mari-Beth Brimble (Steven) of Nanaimo, BC 6 Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The body rested at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday afternoon (January 23, 2004) at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.
