Bathurst - Mrs. Gladys Larson, 72, wife of the late Carl Larson, formerly of Smith St., Parkwood Heights, Bathurst, passed away on Thursday (April 3, 2008) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst, after a lenghty illness. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Leona (Hussey) Comeau. She worked as a Legal Secretary for the former Edward G. Byrne, QC and Roger Bujold Law Office’s. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Carl, in 1965. She is survived by: Two sons: Keith of Long Reach, NB Erick of Bathurst One daughter: Carla Jackson (Bradley) of MaGrath, AB Two brothers: Douglas of Bathurst Bill (Susan) of Upper Kingsclear, NB Five sisters: Iona Smallwood (Ray) of Hamilton, ON Lois Marshall (Amos) of Waterdown, ON Vera Wilson of Puslinch, ON Norma Samson (Peter) of Dunlop, NB Anne Bujold of Bathurst Several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday (April 15, 2008) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the United Cemetery, Ste Anne St., Bathurst, later in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
