Bathurst - Mrs. Ethel LePage, 79, wife of the late Paul LePage, of Varrily St. Bathurst, passed away on Tuesday (March 17, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Sault Ste Marie, ON, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Mae (MacKinnon) Anderson. Ethel was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Women’s League, Bathurst Duplicate Bridge Club, former member of the Bathurst Curling Club, Gowan Brae Golf and Country Club and was a team member representing New Brunswick at the Canadian Ladies Curling Championship in Winnipeg in 1976. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Paul in 2000. Beloved mother of: Phil (Donna) of Fredericton Paula LePage of Bathurst Loved Nanny of Tony (Natalie), Paul (Vanessa), Andy, Allyson, Marty and Alexina. Great-grandmother to Anderson. Sisters: Barb Fiacconi (Royce) and Mary Anderson both of Sault Ste Marie, ON Several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a sister; Huetta Graig. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday (March 21, 2009) at 11 a.m. from the Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst, with Father Greg Culligan officiating. If so desired, donations in memory of Ethel may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity would be appreciated.
