Geraldine Lavigne – 78, of Donald Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Friday (may 29, 2009), at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Francis (King) Jennings. She is survived by: Four daughters: Barbara (Emile) Mazerolle; Shirley Lavigne, both of Bathurst; Audrey (Kenneth Gauthier) Lavigne of Ottawa; Lillian (Adrien Gauthier) Hachey of South Tetagouche; Three sons: Kenneth (Doris Alexander); Clifford (Donna); Aurele (Glenda) all of Bathurst; 19 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren; Four sisters: Barbara Wood; Clara Smith both of Salmon Beach; Betty Ann Cole; Annie Peters both of Bathurst; Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Brian; grand daughters, Amanda, Lucy Margaret, brothers; John Ernest, Harry, Clifford and a sister; Shelva. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday (June 2, 2009) at 2 p.m. from St. George’s Anglican Church, King Ave. Donation may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
