Bathurst - Maynard Driscoll, 63, of Orser Dr., Bathurst, husband of Norma (LaPointe) Driscoll, died Wednesday (June 25, 2003) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Sunnyside, NB, he was the son of the late Abraham and Emma (Dempsey) Driscoll. He worked for Brunswick Mines retiring in 1986 and was a member of the company's Quarter Century Club. Besides his wife, the former Norma LaPointe, he is survived by: 1 Son: Ashley of Guelph, ON 1 Daughter: Heather Driscoll, of Moncton 3 Brothers: Allan Driscoll (Marie) and Merlyn Driscoll (Adeline), both of Bathurst Wayne Driscoll of Montreal 3 Sisters: Valerie Furlotte (Reginald) and Esther Hachey (Lawrence) both of Bathurst Juanita Furlott (Allanson) of New Mills 2 Grandchildren, Ryan and Sally Several nieces and nephews. The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning (June 28, 2003) at 11:00 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.
