Bathurst - Henry Hudon, of Bridge St, Bathurst, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born December 23, 1916, he was the son of the late Cyrille Hudon and Elmire Bouchard. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Irene (Dickie) Hudon, on January 15, 2009. He is survived by: One daughter: Nancy McCarthy of Ormond Beach, Florida Two sons: David (Sharon) of Thunder Bay, ON John (Phyllis) of Bathurst. Seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by three brothers; Fred, Leo, Leon and three sisters; Elizabeth, Rosann and Dorothy. Henry served in the Armed Forces during World War II. He worked for George Eddy Company, Hudon Textiles and Gordie's Auto Sales. At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation. The remains are to be cremated and a service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Henry may be made to a favorite charity.
