Bathurst - Herman Legacy, 75, husband of Bertha (Canty) Legacy, died Friday (June 27, 2003) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in South Tetagouche, he was the son of the late Thomas and Josephine Legacy. He worked as a mechanic at Loundsbury's Motors until his retirement. Besides his wife, the former Bertha Canty, he is survived by: 1 Sister: Marion Arseneau (George) of Windsor, ON 2 Brothers:Emery Legacy and Gerald Legacy, both of Ontario Several nieces and nephews. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday morning (July 1, 2003) from the Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the South Tetagouche Catholic Cemetery. www.elhatton.com
