Acton, ON - It is with sadness that the family of Hilda Boucher Doucet Wilson, of Acton, ON, and formerly of Bathurst, announces the passing of their mother, which occurred Monday (November 1, 2010) at the Milton Hospital in Ontario, at the age of 95.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Ethel (Vienneau) Boucher.
Hilda worked for many years at the former Fransblows Clothing store.
She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Harold Boucher, her second husband, Rudolph Doucet, her eldest daughter, Adrienne Arseneau, three sons, Gervais, Albanie, Sylvain, her only brother, Everett Boucher and a sister-in-law, Exilda Boucher Lagacy. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by her third husband, Forbes Wilson of Acton, ON. Besides her husband, she is survived by:
Four daughters; Rowena Dingee (late Robert) of Dalhousie, Alma Lapointe (late Harvey), Mona Doucet (Gerald) and Sheila Belanger (Stephen), all of Bathurst. Four sons; Leonard (Janetta), Rheal (Marlene), Rodney (Annette) and Owen (Deborah), all of Bathurst. Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Son-in-law; Sylvio Arseneau of Bathurst, Three daughters-in-law; Estelle Boucher and Delcina Boucher, both of Bathurst and Georgine Boucher of Elliot Lake, ON.
Our mother enjoyed music, dancing and family gatherings; she will be sadly missed by all.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Thursday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday afternoon (November 5, 2010) at 1:30 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst. Visiting hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Friday from 11:30 a.m. until time of Funeral.
