Bathurst - Mrs. Isabelle Landry, 84, wife of the late Alexis Landry, of College St., Bathurst, passed away on Thursday (November 18, 2010) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Lydia (Vienneau) Vienneau.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Alexis in 1974 and is survived by:
Five sons;
Albert (Henriette) of Sudbury, ON,
Daniel of Prince George, BC,
Robert (Heather) of Armstrong, BC,
Armand and
Claude (Grace) both of Bathurst.
Four daughters;
Loraine Landry (Gérard Boudreau) of Petit-Rocher, Rachelle Dailey (Léonce Basque) of Beresford, Linda Schwartz (Lorne) of Prince George, BC and Marie-Claire Teed (Daniel) of Moncton.
Three brothers;
Wilfred "Bill",
John (Francis) and
Gérard (Mary) all of Bathurst.
One sister;
Emerentienne "Lou" Boucher (Gérard) of Bathurst.
18 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by 2 brothers; Henry and Laurent.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning (November 24, 2010) at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Donations in memory of Isabelle may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
