New Bandon – Donald Jagoe, 79, of New Bandon, passed away on Tuesday (December 7, 2010) at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Lestock and Lottie (Ellis) Jagoe.
He worked for the former Consolidated Bathurst Paper Mill and worked in Farming and Fishing for all of his life.
Besides his wife, Inez (Knowles) Jagoe, he is survived by:
Four daughters, Lynda Jagoe of New Bandon, Mary Jagoe of Springfield, Karla Smith (Wayne) of Salmon Beach, Tilda Whelton (David) of Pokeshaw.
One son, John (Kathy) of Janeville.
One sister, Hilda Glendenning of Canobie
10 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by brothers; Rupert, Eldon, Hazen, Ira, Carl, Ethan, Leigh and a sister, Esther Borden.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Friday at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday afternoon (December 11, 2010) at 2:00 p.m. from Christ Church, Clifton. Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Donations in memory of Donald may be made to the Friends of Christ Church, Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
