Bathurst – Mrs. Eleanor Glendenning, 89, wife of the late Marson Glendenning, formerly of Bridge St., Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday (April 20, 2011) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Frances (Prosser) O’Connor.

She is survived by:
Three sons, Burton (Elizabeth Hamilton) of Fredericton, Tracy (late Phyllis Acker) and Blake (Gay Knowles) both of Bathurst.  Two daughters, Myra Wiseman (Keith) of Stonehaven and Sandra of Terrace, BC.  One grandson, Sean Wiseman (Robin), two great-granddaughters, Brynn and Shea.
One brother, Frank O’Connor of Bathurst.  Several nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.  
She was pre-deceased by one son, Raymond, two sisters, Edith and Edna.
 
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Friday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral Service will be held on Saturday (April 23, 2011) at 11 a.m. from the First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst.  Visiting hours are 2 to 4 on Friday.  For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to a charity of the donors choice.
