At Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, on Sunday, September 18, 2011, Jean-Paul Couture passed away peacefully at the age of 59 years.

He resided in East Bathurst with his guardian sister Joanne Roy.

Born in East Bathurst, he was the handicapped son of the late Victor and the late Elizabeth (Molly) Couture.

He leaves behind three sisters, Thérèse (Julien) Chabot of Robertville, Suzanne (Dan Lylyk) of Don Mills, Ont. and Joanne (Roger Roy) of Bathurst, also as one brother, Vincent Couture (Alma) of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and three brothers, Arthur, Donald, Lawrence and four sisters, Monique, Diane, Marcella, Pricilla.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2011 from 9 am until time of funeral at Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com) in Bathurst, where the funeral service will be held at 11 am.
