Bathurst – Roméo Duguay, 73, of Bathurst, passed away on Thursday (November 3, 2011) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Albert and Emma (Ward) Duguay.
He worked for Brunswick Mills for most of his life. Life member of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst and was an avid wood worker.
He is survived by; One son, André (Marie Josée Duchesne) of Moncton. One daughter, Monique Duguay (Brian Keough) of Moncton. One granddaughter; Mia. The mother of his children, Lorraine d’Entremont of Bathurst. One brother; Delphis (Shirley) of Campbell River, BC. Many nieces and nephews.
He was pre deceased by brothers; Rheal, Alphonse, Raymond and Richard.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday (November 9, 2011) from 7 to 9 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday (November 10, 2011) at 11 a.m. from Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St. Bathurst.
