Bathurst - Robert W. Douglas, 80, of Munro St., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday (November 6, 2011) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Middle River, he was the son of the late William and Amanda (Harris) Douglas.

He was a former employee of Mainville Trucking.

He is survived by his wife, Roseline (Arseneau) Douglas.  Two sisters; Geraldine Roy and Annie Ward, both of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

The body will rest after 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral service will be held on Wednesday (November 9, 2011) at 1 p.m. from the Saint George's Anglican Church, King Ave., Bathurst.  Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
