It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Mrs. Dorothy Cormier, wife of the late Albanie ''Tigas'' Cormier of Rough Waters Drive, Bathurst, N.B., which occurred on Friday April 20, 2012 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 80 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Estelle (Chiasson) Glazier.

She is survived by her children:  Allan (Carol Ann), Rona (Randy), Linda (Drew) all of Bathurst;

grandchildren:  Joel, Miranda, Brett, Corey and Jake; 

sisters and brother:  Cecile  Bernier of Edmonton, Alb., Irene MacLellan of Bathurst, N.B., Margaret White (George) of Moncton, N.B., Jeannine Tucker (Pat) of Saint John, N.B.,  Gerald Glazier (Winnie) of Lincoln, N.B.,

and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Clarence Glazier and grandson, Justin Cormier.

Visitation for late Dorothy Cormier will be held at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst on Monday (April 23, 2012) from 2:00 p.m.  Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew Street, Bathurst.

Donation in the memory of Dorothy can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Palliative Care Unit CRH Foundation or a charity of the donors choice.

Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
