1925 - 2012

Bathurst - Mrs. Eva David, 86, wife of the late Willard David, of Queen St. and formerly of South Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (June 23, 2012) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.

Born in Chamberlain Settlement, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Clara Vienneau.

She is survived by three sons: Claude (Jacqueline) of St. Paul, Alb., John (Iris Sheppard) and Gérard (Rose-May) both of Bathurst. 

Five daughters: Germaine David of Miramichi, Annette David, Brenda Couture, Monique Doucet (Alcide) and Nicole David (Jean-Claude Morais) all of Bathurst. 

Two brothers: Benoît (Jeannette) of Bathurst and Emile of Oshawa, Ont. 

One sister, Millie O'Neil of Montreal, Que.

14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Visitations will be on Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon (June 26, 2012) at 4 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral.
