Geraldine Mary Beal, 83, of Brampton, Ontario, formerly of Saint John, N.B., passed away on December 8, 2012 at the Residence of Specialty Care Woodhall Park, Brampton, Ontario.
Born in Saint John, N.B., she was the daughter of the late William and Eva (King) Beal.
She was a nurse for over 45 years. Geraldine loved to travel to England, Scotland and to Bathurst to visit her family. She enjoyed her independence and loved to laugh. Geraldine held a personal faith, but enjoyed her Catholic rituals. She was a proud New Brunswicker who could shrimp and scallop anyone under the table.
Geraldine will be remembered and missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by four sisters: Georgina Pitts of Bathurst, Helen and Ken Griffin of Saint John, Ruth Chessie and Tony Cutone of Ontario, Evelyn Micallef of Scarborough, Ontario.
One brother, Charles of Ontario.
She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers: John, George and Arthur and two sisters: Betty Alexander, Hazel Hachey.
A memorial service will he held on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11 a.m. from the Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Geraldine may be made to the Parkinson’s Association would be greatly associated.
