Middle River - Medore Roy, 64, of Middle River, died suddenly at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Caraquet, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Caroline (Parisé) Roy. He was employed with Kenny's Trucking in Bathurst, as a heavy equipment operator for many years. He will be sadly missed by his wife, the former Evangeline Roy, and his children: Two sons: Roger Roy (Melanie) and Daniel Roy (Crystal) both of Bathurst One daughter: Denise Doucet (Jean-Marc) of Sormany Three grandchildren, Natasha, Jessie and Cory. Four sisters: Yvonne Godin (Euclide) of Beresford Florida Gauthier (Clifford) of Bathurst Stella Boucher (Lionel) of Middle River Bertha Morais (Roger) of Val D'Or, Que. Several nieces, nephews and friends. He was pre-deceased by 3 brothers, Leandre, Gerard and Léo. The family will received family and friends after 2:00 p.m. Friday at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning (September 18, 2004) at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.
