Bathurst - Mrs. Marie Godin, 83, wife of George Godin, of the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes and formerly of Miramichi Ave., Bathurst, died Wednesday (September 22, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late William and Odilla (Couture) Legacy. Besides her husband, George, of Bathurst, she is survived by: Two sons: Clifford Godin (Johanna) and William Godin (Gail) both of Bathurst One daughter: Claudia Godin (Gerald LeBlanc) of Bathurst Four brothers: Leo Legacy (Therese) of Bathurst Lincoln Legacy (Arnolda) of Beresford Albanie Legacy (Bella) of Riverview Roger Legacy (Rejeanne) of New Richmond, Que. Three sisters: Geraldine Godin (Gerard), Clothilde Blanchard (Edward) and Blanche Doucet (Maurice), all of Bathurst 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Clifford. The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday (September 24, 2004) at 11:00 a.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel, with Father William Arseneault officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery, St. Mary's Ave. Visiting hours are Thursday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9.
