1948 – 2013

It is with deep sadness, the family wish to announce the death of Janet Godin at the age of 65, which occurred on Sunday November 3, 2013 at her residence.

Born in Montreal, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Laurence Dier.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Godin.

One sister, Joyce Dier and brother-in-law, Marvin Roach both from Mississauga, Ont.

Her daughter and son-in-law, Tanya and Mark Scott of Fredericton.

She will be sadly missed by her canine companion, Diesel.

She was devoted to her family and profession as a nurse.  She worked at the Maison Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption, Vallée-Lourdes, Bathurst for 23 years.

The family would like to thank the staff at Extra Mural for the care given to Janet.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home

The funeral will be celebrated on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst.

In memory of Janet, a donation to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Family will greet relatives and friends at the Chapel for a celebration for her life followed by a reception
