1932 - 2014

Bathurst - Mrs. Marcella Roy, 81, wife of the late Raymond Roy, formerly of Ord Ave., Bathurst, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 at the Villa Sormany, Robertville.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late George and Bertha (Roy) Doucet.

Loving mother of eight children, three sons:  Robert (Diane) of Bathurst, Jerry (Linda) of Marmora, Ont. and Camille of Ottawa, Ont.

Three daughters:  Diane Roy and Colette Roy (Glen), both of Kitchener, Ont. and Barbara Anne Roy of Toronto, Ont.

10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.

One brother, Leonard (Gisèle) of Chicoutimi, Que., several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sons: Richard, Roger and a brother, Edgar.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be celebrated on Friday (June 27, 2014) at 11 a.m. from Elhattton's Funeral Home Chapel . 

Donations in memory of Marcella may be made to the Villa Sormany Foundation or a favorite charity.
