1946 – 2014

Bathurst - Adelaide Power, 68, of Dumeresq St., Bathurst, passed away on Thursday (April 24, 2014) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late James and Agnes (Lordon) Power.

She will be sadly missed by her two children, Alan of Sainte-Anne, Glou. Co., and Alanna Breckenridge of Miramichi.  One grandson, Nicholas.

Five brothers: Gerald Power (Carrie), Daniel Power, James Power (Lorette) and Perley Power (Jane Beaulieu), all of St. Anne's and Chesley Power of Winnipeg, Man.

Two sisters:  Ann Marie Power of Bathurst and Caroline Doiron (Ted) of Plainsville, Conn., USA

Several nieces and nephews.

As per her request, there will be no visitation or funeral.  A graveside service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Adelaide may be made to a favorite charity.
