1923 - 2014

Helen Mary Foote, born on September 22, 1923 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, died at the age of 91 after a brief illness on October 11, 2014 at Chaleur Regional Hospital.

Helen "Aunt Honey" retired to Bathurst in 1987 where she lived with her niece, Jo Adams for 24 years. For the past three years, Honey lived at the Manoir Brise de L’Oasis, where she was very well cared for and made many new friends. "Aunt Honey" was the beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews whom will remember her fondly as "Santa Claus", Easter Bunny" and the  "Tooth Fairy" all rolled into one special aunt.  She will be greatly missed by all those who loved her.  

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, at 11 am on November 8th at the Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel.
