Bathurt - Ronald Daigle, 71, of King Ave, passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst on Thursday, October 30, 2014.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Rudolphe and Yvonne (Arseneau) Daigle.

He worked at Brunswick Mills for 28 years and was a former Captain with the Big River Volunteer Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife Yvonne (LeCouter) Daigle. 

Three sons:  Luc (Clara) of Moncton, Lorne (Olga) of South Tetagouche and Ricky (Suzanne) of Saint John. 

One daughter, Lisa (Randy Hachey) of South Tetagouche. 

Six grandchildren:  Ryan, Lyne, Jared, Kaleigh, Kyle and Gregg.

One brother, Jean Guy of Petit Rocher.  Several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Line; two brothers: Alvin and Gerald and a sister, Doreen.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 2 pm from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St, Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Ronald may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
