Bathurst - Clifford Knowles, 76, of St. George St., Bathurst, died Sunday (December 5, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a short period of illness. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Robert Reginald and Jessie (Branch) Knowles. He worked for the former Consolidated Bathurst Paper Mill and was a member of the Company's Quarter Century Club. He was a quiet, caring and loving man who will be sadly missed by: Two brothers: Kenneth Knowles (Gloria) of Bathurst Harold Knowles of Victoria, BC Sister: Barbara Dodge (Herb) of Bathurst A very special aunt: Barbara Hinde of North Tetagouche, NB Several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by two brother, Donald and Blair. The body is resting after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon (December 8, 2004) at 11:00 a.m. from St. George's Anglican Church, King Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery, St. Anne St., in the spring.
