1949 – 2015

Bathurst – Lillian Hamilton of Coffyn Crescent, Bathurst, passed away after an ongoing illness on Wednesday, June 17 2015 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 65.

Born in Campbellton she was the daughter of the late William and Edith (Henderson) Hamilton.

Lillian was a graduate of the NBCC accounting program, and was employed with the City of Bathurst as assistant treasurer. 

She is survived by a son Kevin (Lori) of Fredericton, N.B.

Three brothers: William (Susan) of Blackland, Scott (Clairine) of Charlo, Ian (Mary) of Dalhousie.

Three sisters: Kathyrn (Brian) Mercier of Miramichi, Heather (Mike) Aubie of Bathurst and Pamela (Bruce) Dowell of Halifax.

Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and assorted extended family.

She was predeceased by her partner, Eugene Delagarde; two sisters: Betty-Jane and Sally.

The family will receive relatives and friends after 2 p.m. Saturday, June 20 2015 at Elhatton Funeral Chapel (www.elhatton.com), St. George St., Bathurst.  A celebration of life service will be held at 3:30 p.m. from the funeral home chapel.  

Donations in memory of Lillian may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor`s choice.
