1933 – 2015

Clifton – Kenneth "Ken" Eddy, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones, on Friday June 26, 2015 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Clifton, where he lived his entire life, and was the son of the late Harry and Carrie (Wiseman) Eddy.

Ken was married to the late Muriel Margaret (Hornibrook) Eddy for 49 years.

An employee of Brunswick Mines for over 40 years and spent over 20 years training; however his passion was a lifetime of farming. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by two daughters: Brenda Jean Peters (Bertram) and Margaret "Peggy" Clouston (Lester) both of Salmon Beach.

Two granddaughters: Sandy and Courtney Peters.

One brother, Duncan (Mildred) of Clifton and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son, Farren Kenneth; four brothers:  Wesley, Thomas, Wayne and William (in infancy); four sisters: Gertrude, Jean, Bessie and Susan.

The body will rest after 2 p.m. on Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral service will be held on Tuesday afternoon June 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from Central United Church, Clifton.

Visiting hours are Monday June 29, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
