1926-2015

Valérie Couture, wife of the late Aurèle Couture, formerly of Mt. Carmel Street in Bathurst, passed away at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst on Thursday, August 6th, 2015 at the age of 89.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Arseneau and the late Martha (Doucet) Arseneau.

She is survived by two sisters: Audrey Doucet (late Gérard) of Bathurst and Cécilia Sheilds (Ron) of Halifax N.S.; also, several nieces and nephews.

Valérie was predeceased by her two sisters: Mary Arseneau and Betty Nowlan.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 13 at 11:00 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst.

In Memory of Valérie, donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
