1928 - 2015

Violet Miller passed away on Monday, August 17, 2015 at the age of 86 at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Ida (Couture) Chiasson.

Violet is survived by one son, Ronald (Carolyn) Kinsman of Cambridge, N.S. 

Two grandsons: Andrew (Elizabeth) Kinsman of Nanaimo, B.C. and Matthew (Melissa) Kinsman of Edmonton, Alta.

Two granddaughters: Shannon Alexander of Montreal, Que. and Sarah Kinsman of Fredericton, N.B. 

Two great-granddaughters and one great-grandson.

One sister, Claudette Hickey of Edmonton, Alta.

Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Kinsman in 1974 and Douglas Miller in 2002; her son, Robert Kinsman in 2010 as well as her brother, Clifford Chiasson.

Visitation will be held at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst. 

Internment to follow at South Bathurst Cemetery.
