1942 - 2015

Mrs. Mary Laurel Scott, wife of David Scott, of Stonehaven, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst at the age of 72.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Vera (Miller) Gildart.

She was a member of Central United Church, Clifton and a life member of the UCW.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Lynn Newell (David) of Plymouth, Mass, U.S. and Janet Polegato (Lionel) of Oromocto, N.B. 

Two grandchildren: Nicole (Clayton) and Cameron (Rachel).

Two brothers: Osborne Gildart of Bathurst and Godfrey (Jean) Gildart of Aldoune.

Numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her twin sister, Margaret Scott; two brothers: Gerald and Garfield.

As a beloved wife, treasured mother, sister and special aunt and friend, she will be greatly missed by many.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. 

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday September 26, 2015 at 3 p.m. from Central United Church, Clifton. 

Donations in memory of Mary may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
